Will County Farm Bureau has committees available for all members to join. Committees help accomplish our mission, promote agriculture, and serve our members.

AG IN THE CLASSROOM
Ag in the Classroom (AITC) promotes agriculture awareness, education, and understanding among students, teachers, and the general public through classroom visits & activities, public events, and other opportunities.
GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS
The Governmental Affairs Committee facilitates communication between Farm Bureau members and local, state, and national legislators and government officials. The committee works to hold close relationships with legislators and their staff, along with hosting events that invite legislators to see and learn what happens on farms in Will County.
MARKETING
The Marketing Committee focuses on supporting farmers via education and demonstrations to assist farmers in their endeavors on the farm. These include events on sustainability, market outlook, agriculture products, and farm technology.
VIEWPOINT
Viewpoint Committee offers Will County Farm Bureau members the opportunity to give input concerning policy development for local, state, and national efforts. The committee also hosts informational programs on policy and programs like taxes, healthcare, trade, and other agriculture issues.
WOMEN FOR FAMILY FARMS
Women for Family Farms encourages participation from all Will County Farm Bureau members through social and educational programs for all ages. Women for Family Farms volunteers with other Farm Bureau events including agriculture education and promotion.
YOUNG FARMERS
Young Farmers provides opportunities to those just beginning in their Farm Bureau and agriculture career. Young Farmers is a great committee for those coming out of their 4-H and FFA membership. Open to those 35 & under, events focus on leadership development, personal growth, and community.
